There are many DNA health test for dogs, but Embark is the newest and most advanced. We think every breeder should have their parent dogs tested by Embark, and if a breeder shrugs DNA testing off as unimportant, too expensive, or they hide their dog's results, it could mean they are hiding something from you. DNA testing will give you more peace of mind than any other organization, club, or guarantee because you can see the lab results yourself. Even dogs that are AKC or CKC registered can have or carry unhealthy conditions. With DNA testing, you can know your new friend is likely to grow up in a healthy way, loved by a family, and far less likely to have any issues later in life. That's right! It is very unlikely for our pups to have any hip issues when they get older! This is because all of our parent dogs have been tested by Embark and do not have or carry any condition in their hips. elbows, kidneys, blood, eyes, etc. If the parents do not have or carry a condition, then it is impossible for the pups to have that condition.
